Do you ever wonder what your favorite celebrities had for Thanksgiving? What do they normally serve on their table during this special time of the year?
People are celebrating Thanksgiving differently this year because of the coronavirus pandemic. There were no big family gatherings or crowds watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. However, the spirit of thanksgiving never dies and one way to honor this day is by having a delicious meal with your family or friends.
Below you’ll find a list of famous celebrities and what they would usually have during Thanksgiving.
The Bring the Funny judge and Cravings author doesn’t like serving turkey and prefer having two whole roasted chickens on the table instead. She told InStyle in October 2017, “I do two whole roasted chickens because chicken is so much better and you can still get a great gravy out of it. I just really feel like people feel like they’re forced to eat turkey, and nobody really enjoys it. Surprise everyone. Serve them chicken, and they’ll be much happier.”
She also loves her mom’s hearty scalloped potatoes. “My mom’s scalloped potatoes have been made in my home more than anything else. They’re creamy and loaded with both bacon and ham,” Teigen told Vogue in December 2016. She added, “We make a huge pot and end up reheating them for the entire week. They get better and better!”
Khloe Kardashian’s famous family normally hires a chef to prepare their holiday meal but the Good American founder said she loves cooking a Thanksgiving feast by herself. She told The Real in November 2019, “I’m normally in Cleveland cooking every single dish. I cook it all but … I love desserts. I’m famous for my Oreo cake.”
The Iron Man 3 actress is all about the turkey during Thanksgiving. In May 2011, Gwyneth told Huffington Post, “Turkey will always be the main event of Thanksgiving (at least in my house) and a whole turkey is the way to go if you’re feeding at least 12. But if your party is smaller, the stuffed turkey breast turns out to be a great halfway point.”- Advertisement -
The momager published a book, In the Kitchen With Kris in October 2014, where she shared some of her favorite Thanksgiving recipes. She mentioned, “I have a notebook just for Thanksgiving, which is my second favorite holiday. I rotate dishes from year to year, but of course, there are family favorites that always make it to the table [like sweet potato soufflé.]”
The actress told Us in November 2011 that she loves stuffing. She shared, “On Thanksgiving we always just have a big feast. Stuffing is my favorite food in the world! I actually have been known to go buy stuffing and make it in the middle of summer.”
These celebrities are just like many of their fans who enjoy Thanksgiving and celebrate it with traditional dishes and more!
