    Just a few days more before December could make its grand entrance onto 2020. The yuletide season is just around the corner! And since it’s still pandemic times, being safe and staying indoors is highly suggested but that doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to enjoy your holiday.

    Below is the list of top ten holiday-themed Netflix movies that you can watch and chill with your partner, pet, or family. After all, it’s cold outside.

    The Holidate

    Perfect for the millennials! Very relatable when it comes to ‘adulting’ stuff and dating or relationship concerns. The Holidate is a fine combination of romance and comedy, as well as the pretend-boyfriend/girlfriend trope. Plus, it stars Emma Roberts and Aussie hottie Luke Bracey.

    The Princess Switch: Switched Again

    The old switcheroo never gets old. A sequel to The Princess Switch (2019) starring Vanessa Hudgens who played both characters (duchess and talented baker). It’s got all the regal glamour and Christmas vibes and it’s perfect for fans of The Princess Diaries. 

    Let it Snow

    Another one of the upcoming new releases on Netflix. It’s a very holiday-themed drama depicting the lives of high school students who got caught up when a snowstorm hits their town exactly on Christmas Eve. Think about it as a beautiful entrapment. This stars Sabrina actress Kiernan Shipka.

    Home Alone

    One of the best, if not the best holiday movie to watch! Just admit that classic slapstick comedy never gets old. Perfect to watch with the family. After all, Home Alone is also about family, and not leaving anyone behind.

    Home Alone 2

    Because those who watched part one should watch the second part, After all, Home Alone 2 exhibits the metropolitan beauty of New York City. Not to mention that this film has that iconic scene with Tim Curry!

    The Holiday

    Another top holiday-themed movie that reflects the reality of love, work, and other inevitable circumstances. This stars Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz whose characters decided to exchange homes for the holiday which then allowed things to unfold for them.

    New Year’s Eve

    Fans of Love Actually, Valentine’s Day, and Love, the coopers will totally fall in love with this film. Features several overlapping narratives of individuals who tried to find joy on New Year’s Eve. Has amazing star power starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Ashton Kutcher, and Robert De Niro.

    Four Christmases

    A very enjoyable film starring Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon as the couple who tried visiting four of their divorced parents on Christmas Day.

    Little Women (1997)

    Not necessarily a holiday film but perfect for those who want something classic and Christmassy at the same time.

    How the Grinch stole Christmas (2000)

    Based on a character created by Dr Seuss and starring amazing actor Jim Carrey. It reflects hope and the beauty of Christmas. Plus, Christmas isn’t complete without the mean one.
