It has been a great year for Ariana Grande despite the COVID-19 pandemic. The singer released a new album recently, Positions, and has gotten engaged to her boyfriend, Dalton Gomez. It’s no surprise then that she’s paying it forward by spreading holiday cheer.
The Thank U, Next singer sent Secret Santa gifts as well as Amazon vouchers to hundreds of patients staying at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and Manchester Royal Infirmary. So why did she choose this city? It happened that Manchester has a special place in her heart. During her Dangerous Woman tour, a terrorist detonated a bomb that killed 22 people and injured 500 more at a stop at Manchester Arena.
In addition, Ariana and her fiancé also shared their blessings back home by sending special gifts to patients at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital. The special gifts were included in the patients’ wishlists. The hospital posted on Instagram on December 24 to share several photos showing some of the children who have received their presents.
They wrote, “Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez sent their elves to spread some holiday cheer to our kids and their families. Their generosity saw to it that our kid’s holiday wish lists were granted and that the delivery came with surprise pizza and meal deliveries.
Thank you, @arianagrande, Dalton and all of our supporters for your continued support this holiday season.

In addition to the gifts, they also got surprise pizzas, cards that have “happy holidays! love ariana grande + dalton gomez” on them together with other goodies.
Meanwhile, parents of children in the neonatal intensive care unit at the said hospital as well as those in Manchester also were also give gifts by the singer. They received face creams, lotions, blankets, and many more.
The donations came only three days after Ariana took to Instagram to announce that she’s engaged to Dalton, a real estate agent. They first sparked romance rumors in February.
In May, they went public with their relationship after they both appeared in the music video for Ariana and Justin Bieber’s collaboration, “Stuck With U”. Since then, they’ve both been sharing photos of the two of them. Also, they quarantined together amid the pandemic which game them more than enough time to get to know each other better.
