E! News shared exclusive details on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s six-year marriage finally coming to its expected ending. However, the famous reality star has yet to file for divorce from her husband.
The couple has been married for six year while they’ve been together for eight years. E! found out through a source that they’re going their separate ways. They first went public about their relationship in April 2012 and have four children together namely North West, 7, Saint West, 5, Chicago West, 2, and Psalm West, 20 months.
The source said, “It’s gotten to the point where they haven’t spent time together as a married couple in months. They’ve seen each other for the sake of the kids but have been living separately. Kim knows the marriage is over. She’s known for a while.”
As to why Kim hasn’t filed for divorce yet, the source explained, “She wants to make sure she’s making the right decision for the kids.”
The source further explained, “It’s not about the marriage anymore, she’ll always care for Kanye but it’s over between them. Kim is only focused on what’s best for the kids. It’s a tough decision for her and she’s figuring it out.”
The last few months have been hard for the couple. In July, Kim talked publicly for the first time about her husband’s mental health after he tweeted about their family.
She explained, “As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar [sic] disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand. I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy when it comes to his health. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health.”
A source told E! in December, “She is doing her thing and he is doing his. She doesn’t micromanage it or worry about it too much. She lets him go off and be who he is. It is what it is.”
Also last year, Kim and Kanye celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary by renewing their vows. She even practiced her vow to their son Psalm I one of the episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She recited, “You are my husband. You are my best friend. My biggest believer and my one true love.”
Celebrities are always behaving like that, they hardly stay together because of somethings they got their selfs into.
