The coronavirus pandemic has affected so many lives and relationships. But for Priyanka Chopra, she learned to cherish the quality time with her husband Nick Jonas.
Priyanka was interviewed by The Sunday Times during which she talked about their relationship and how the lockdowns affected her married life. The 38-year-old actress said, “Quarantine gave us the ability to spend a lot of time together, which I’m really blessed by. Because with both of our careers it’s hard to find that kind of time.”

Priyanka has been very busy last year. She went to Berlin to film some scenes for The Matrix 4 and recently went to London to film Text for You, a romantic comedy. The 28-year-old singer joined his wife in London last November and then they celebrated their second wedding anniversary in the UK capital in December during a lockdown. They also welcomed the New Year together in London.
In December 2018, the two tied the knot in India in a three-day wedding celebration together with their family and friends. Many noticed the huge age gap between the two, with Priyanka older than her husband by several years.
She was asked if their age gap or cultural differences was an obstacle she said, “Neither was a hurdle. Nick took to India like a fish to water. But just like a normal couple, you have to understand each other’s habits and what each other likes. So it’s more of an adventure than trying to figure out hurdles. None of it was really that hard.”
“It’s so comforting to find a person who is in your corner,” Priyanka explained. “Whatever I may be in my professional life or how the world perceives me, I’m just a girl trying to live her life in the best way possible, and I’m so grateful to have a partner in doing that.”
Before she got married, she told NDTV in 2017 that she wanted to get married and “have a cricket team of children”. Presently, the couple has no kids yet. During her recent interview, she laughed at her answer back then.
She clarified, “I do want children, as many as I can have. A cricket team? I’m not so sure.”
