Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are among the most politically vocal celebrities. In fact, they celebrated President Joe Biden’s win by driving through Hollywood. It was no surprise then that they went to Washington D.C. to celebrate Inauguration Day on January 20.
The Cravings author revealed her bittersweet experience on Twitter especially when she had a dental malfunction. She lost a tooth while snacking on a sweet treat. She said in a video, “I just lost my tooth in a Fruit Roll-Up” and held up something that resembled a tooth wedged in the candy.
A fan asked for clarification and wondered if it was a real tooth, cap, or veneer. Chrissy answered, “Cap 🙁 but i loved him like he was a real tooth.”
However, if fans could remember, this is not the first time that the host had a candy-related incident. In August, she shared that her tongue started to peel after she ate a lot of sour candies. She said in a video she shared in her Instagram Stories, “I told you I’m eating so much sour candy that my tongue is falling off. Look at this. It’s literally falling off because I eat so much in the night. I eat sour straws. I suck on them and then after them, I have my Blow Pops.”
Despite her latest mishap, Chrissy is more than happy because she found out that she’s one of the lucky few people whom President Joe Biden started to follow on Twitter using his U.S. government account.
Chrissy shared the good news by tweeting, “hello @joebiden I have been blocked by the president for four years can I get a follow plz.”
Many users eventually noticed that so far, Chrissy was the only person who wasn’t affiliated with the White House followed by @POTUS handle. Gabe Fleisher, political writer, noted that the “official @POTUS account now follows 11 people — all of them Biden aides or accounts, and then @chrissyteigen.”
She was ecstatic, tweeting “OH MY GOD !!!!!!!!!!” my heart oh my god lmao I can finally see the president’s tweets and they probably won’t be unhinged.”
The star jokingly added in another message, “I should prob never tweet again.
