Orlando Bloom doesn’t only have Katy Perry in his life now but he also has a new baby with the singer and his ex-wife Miranda Kerr has nothing but love for them.
The actor and his fiancé welcomed their first child together through a birth announcement shared with UNICEF last Wednesday, August 26. They named their daughter Daisy Dove Bloom.
Based on UNICEF’s Instagram post which was reposted by Bloom, the organization mentioned that they are honored to introduce the new bundle of joy of their Goodwill Ambassadors.
Newborn Daisy is the first child of Bloom and Perry but the actor is also a father to Flynn Bloom who is now nine years old. He is his child with ex-wife supermodel Miranda Kerr. The two are now living separate lives after ending their relationship seven years ago but they continue to co-parent their son.
When the Pirates of the Caribbean actor announced on his Instagram account the arrival of his daughter, Kerr reacted to his big news by liking his post. But it didn’t stop there. The supermodel directly expressed her support for the proud parents by leaving a comment on Perry’s post. She wrote that she’s happy for them and that she couldn’t wait to meet Daisy.

Now that Daisy’s here, Flynn officially has a younger sister. Orlando told Jimmy Fallon before that he also has two other brothers but this is the first time that he will have a sister and it made him feel excited. Kerr and husband Evan Spiegel have two sons namely Hart, 2, and Myles who’s just 10 months old.
Meanwhile, Perry and Bloom are floating with love and wonder with Daisy’s arrival. As Goodwill Ambassadors of UNICEF, the couple launched a donation page in her name to celebrate her arrival and whatever funds they receive will be used to raise awareness and provide financial assistance that will benefit the health and safety of newborns and pregnant moms all over the world.
According to the couple, they are parents to a newborn and they empathize now more than ever with struggling parents out there who don’t have access to water, vaccines, medicines and even soap.
In conclusion, the couple asked people to support the page which aims to provide a safe start to life and a healthier world for children.
