Rebel Wilson is single!
Wilson and Jacob Busch decided to call it quits tough it’s not the end of the road for them.
An insider told E! News that the Pitch Perfect actress realized that their “relationship had run its course”.
The source said, “There wasn’t one incident that really happened to end things, the relationship just ran its course and fizzled out. They had a great time together and remain good friends.”
Also, the two have been living on opposite coasts. The source explained, “They spent the holidays apart and it was getting a little hard to make it work since Rebel lives in LA and he lives in Palm Beach.”
However, the two are still good friends despite the end of their romance. As the source put it, “Rebel and Jacob are still very amicable and friendly,” adding, “they may even end up hanging out together in the future.”
According to the course, there won’t be any “weirdness” between Rebel and Jacob despite being exes like in the case of most couples. The source explained, “Jacob has a lot of love and respect for Rebel and she’ll always hold a special place in his heart. He adored her.”
Now that the actress is single and ready to mingle, not to mention that she looks absolutely stunning in her latest figure, she’s ready to go back to dating.
On Tuesday, February 2, Wilson took to Instagram to announce her new relationship status. She wrote, “Lots on my mind…aghhhhhh..#single-girl-heading-to-Super-Bowl!”
It’s not very clear when Wilson and Busch started dating though they had their first red carpet appearance together in September last year. The actress claimed, “Some people on social media say, ‘Oh, well you lost weight and then you got a hot boyfriend.’ But, what I do want to say to those people is that I actually dated Jacob when I was at my heaviest as well. So, it’s not like I suddenly lost weight, and then you’re like, oh, you get a hot boyfriend—that’s not how it works.”
Busch had been a very supportive boyfriend throughout Wilson’s weight loss journey last year. They didn’t confirm yet the reason behind their split but one thing’s for sure. These exes will remain good friends.
