Phoebe Bridgers claimed that Marilyn Manson had a “rape room” in his house.
The Indie rock singer made the accusation following Evan Rachel Wood’s allegations and those of other women against Manson whose real name is Brian Warner. Manson hasn’t commented on the singer’s Twitter post yet which she posted on Thursday, February 4. However, he already issues a statement in response to Wood’s allegations claiming that all his intimate relationships are consensual.
The label knew, management knew, the band knew. Distancing themselves now, pretending to be shocked and horrified is fucking pathetic.

The 26-year-old singer tweeted, “TW [Trigger Warning]: I went to Marilyn Manson’s house when I was a teenager with some friends. I was a big fan. He referred to a room in his house as the ‘r*pe room’, I thought it was just his horrible frat boy sense of humor. I stopped being a fan. I stand with everyone who came forward.”
Wood started dating Manson when she was only 19. They got engaged but eventually called it off. In 2016, she told Rolling Stone that she was raped. She then testified before a House Judiciary Subcommittee in 2018 where she accused a partner for raping her, though she didn’t mention his name then. Her testimony was in support of passing the Sexual Assault Survivors Bill Of Rights.
On Monday, February 1, the 33-year-old Westwood actress wrote on Instagram, “The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson. He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years.” Following her post, other victims also came forward.
In response, Manson wrote on Instagram, “Obviously, my art and my life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality. My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how—and why—others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth.”
Following the allegations against him, Loma Vista Recording dropped Manson and will no longer work with him in the future. He was also removed from Creepshow’s upcoming episodes and Starz’s American Gods.
Bridgers tweeted, “The label knew, management knew, the band knew. Distancing themselves now, pretending to be shocked and horrified is f–king pathetic.”
