After revealing that she’s a member of the LGBTQ+ community, JoJo Siwa finally introduced her girlfriend as they celebrated their first month of togetherness.
On Monday, the 17-year-old celebrity took to Instagram to introduce her girlfriend and best friend, Kylie. She wrote, “After being my best friend for over a year, January 8th 2021 I got to start calling this exceptional human my Girlfriend… and Since then I’ve been the happiest I have ever been!”
She added, “She seriously is the most loving, supportive, happiest, protective, and just the most beautiful perfect person in the world. And I get to call her mine! Happy one month to my girl! I love you more and more everyday!”
She also shared a video of the two of them on TikTok where she shared that it’s been a month since her best friend asked her to be her girlfriend and that it’s been the best month ever. She also mentioned that she loves her.
In January, Siwa came out by wearing a T-Shirt with the word, “Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever.”. After that, she retweeted and liked posts of fans and fellow celebrities who praised and supported her for coming out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. She also thanked her followers for their love and support after coming out.
She said in an Instagram video, “I am really, really, happy! And now that the world gets to see this side of my life, it makes me really, really happy. Now that I got to share that with the world, it’s awesome…I want people to know that there is so much love in the world and it is so incredible!”
She added, “Somebody said, ‘What label are you?’ And you know, I have thought about this and the reason I am not ready to say this answer is because I really don’t know this answer. I think humans are awesome. I think humans are really incredible people.”
Last week, she appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and mentioned that she has a girlfriend who inspired and encouraged her into coming out. She didn’t reveal her identity then but did say she’s the most beautiful person she’d ever known.
On Monday, Siwa shared photos and a video of herself with her girlfriend as they jammed to “As Long as You Love Me” by Justin Bieber. She also tagged her girlfriend in her post.
