Kim Kardashian wants the best for her children and she’s proven she’s not the kind of mom people should mess with.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star shares four kids with rapper Kanye West. Recently, she took to social media to show off her daughter, North West’s oil painting. She captioned her post, “My little artist North”.
However, not everybody had a positive response to the SKIMS founder’s post, speculating that her daughter didn’t do the painting herself. She immediately set the record straight.
She shared on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, February 9, “My daughter and her best friend have been taking a serious oil painting class where their talents and creativity are being encouraged and nurtured. North worked incredibly hard on her painting which took several weeks to complete.”
She continued, “As a proud mom, I wanted to share her work with everyone. I’m seeing op-ed pieces in the media and social media from grown adults breaking down whether or not my child actually painted this!”
She shut down those trying to steal children’s moment like that of her daughter by explaining, “How dare you see children doing awesome things and then try to accuse them of NOT being awesome!?!?! Please stop embarrassing yourselves with the negativity and allow every child to be great!!!”
On the other hand, there were those who were very impressed with the seven-year-old’s painting. The KKW Beauty founder shared tweets and messages from those who showered North with encouragement.
“Shout out to all the proud moms out there that love to show their baby’s masterpieces,” the reality TV star said in a separate post together with drawings from her husband’s childhood. “Throwback to some of her dad’s artwork that he did when he was a kid.”
North has proven she’s very talented and had put her talents on display several times already. In June, she appeared in her dad’s single, “Wash Us in the Blood” which featured Travis Scott. It was also the first track from Kanye’s upcoming album God’s County.
Kim and Kanye’s oldest daughter also made a cameo where she was seen dancing and singing with a choir behind her from one of her dad’s Sunday Service rehearsals. Also, she’s following her mom’s footsteps in terms of fashion. She has fabulous outfits and a keen eye for design.
