Turns out Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 21-month-old son Archie is going to be a big brother soon. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex just confirmed and announced on February 14th that they are so delighted to be expecting another member of their growing family.
The Duke and Duchess’ family members then shared their congratulations to the expecting couple. However, according to a spokesperson, Queen Elizabeth II, her husband, Prince Philip, and their son, Prince Charles, was told about the good news in advance by the expecting couple themselves. The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, and the Prince of Wales were thrilled to hear the news.
All the family members with the expecting couple all the very best considering that Markle suffered a miscarriage last July 2020. Yet, 2021 seem to be starting well for the royal couple, now that there is another bundle of joy that’s about to join their crew. In the meantime, the 39 years old Duchess of Sussex is yet to share some details regarding her pregnancy and her experience.
The now-expecting couple tied that knot last May 2018 then soon welcomed their firstborn in May 2019 and recently published a grayscale photo captured by the photographer Misan Harriman who also happens to be a dear friend of the Duchess. The photo was taken outdoors where the happy couple is sitting under a gorgeous canopy of trees.
In the photo, the Duchess can be seen lying her head on the Duke’s left thigh while putting a hand on her growing and precious baby bump while flaunting a floor-length dress from designer Carolina Herrera. The dress was said to have been custom made for her while she was pregnant with their first son who will be turning two in the second of May.
The Duke (36) on the other hand can be seen smiling at his wife.
Harriman captioned the photo with a message addressed to his dear friend, the Duchess herself, saying that he (Harriman) was honoured to capture and witness such growing moment for the couple since the wedding and to the present. He further added his congrats and well wishes to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
In the meantime, the Duchess is said to be likely five months pregnant and might be welcoming their second baby in the middle of 2021—a piece of delightful news right after she shared that she lost the one before.
