The singer talked about the pandemic as the reason behind the cancellation of her tours. Moreover, she shared that the health crisis that we are all experiencing has changed everyone’s plans and no one knows what will touring landscapes be in the future.
Swift expressed how she missed her fans and said that she can’t wait for the day where everyone will be safe and enjoy the show together.
Taylor Swift has dropped two albums after ‘Lover’. These albums were ‘Folklore’ and ‘Evermore’.
There are a lot of things coming from Taylor Swift and one of those is her re-recorded album, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) which will be released at the end of 2021. This re-recording has been a product of the incidents last June 2019 where music manager Scooter Braun acquired Swift’s old recording company named Big Machine Label and together with it were the masters for Taylor’s first six albums.
At 16 years old, Taylor Swift already signed with Big Machine and was most likely not aware of the true meaning of an artist who does their own work. When the singer left the record label in 2018, she was also forced to leave behind the masters of her first five albums.
Swift talked about how she was given the opportunity to sign back with Big Machine Records and earn one album back at a time, one for every new one she will turn in. Up on that moment, she knew that once she signs the contract, Scott Borchetta, CEO of Big Machine would sell the label. For the songstress, selling the record label also means selling her and her future as well.
Nevertheless, the pop star is still doing a lot of work and focusing on her music in the middle of the pandemic.
