Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are among the hottest Hollywood couples today after confirming their relationship last month.
On Thursday, March 4, the Blink-182 drummer dropped by The Drew Barrymore Show and the actress couldn’t help but ask, “I read a note that your lovely lady wrote to you saying, like, ‘We may destroy each other. And I was like, ‘Oh, that’s so hot.’ I think my love note might be like, ‘Can we just get to bed early and, like, watch a movie?'”
Travis laughed and said, “I would prefer the opposite. I would prefer to, you know, kind of go in a blaze of glory, like, ball of flames.”
It seems that Kourtney and her new man are on the same page. Travis shared a photo of the said love note which she wrote on Saturday, February 20. The handwritten note stated, “To lots of fun adventures, may we destroy each other completely. Love, [heart scribble] Kourtney.”
Days before the drummer shared the love note, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star herself made their relationship Instagram Official. The two have known each other for several and they’re good friends and neighbors, too. Travis has kids and the Poosh founder admires how he handles his responsibilities as a hands-on parent.
Meanwhile, on The Drew Barrymore Show, the host asked him for dating advice as a parent. He explained, “Up until now, I would, you know, date girls that didn’t have kids, and I find it kind of hard. I think they would have trouble understanding, ‘Well, why don’t you want to go to dinner every night with me?’ or ‘Why don’t you want to see me every night?'”
He added, “And now, I’m spending time with a woman who’s a great mom; who’s, like, a great friend. And I just, you don’t have to worry about any of those things. It just comes natural. It’s like a maturity thing.”
“And I also really like missing someone and cherishing the time that I spend with them instead of, you know, every day being with them. Especially in the beginning of the relationship, I think missing someone is so important,” he concluded.
