Khloe Kardashian claimed that quarantine stood in the way of her plans to give daughter True a sibling.
A clip from ELLEN original digital series Lady Parts hosted by Sarah Hyland and featured ob-gyn Dr. Sherry Ross, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian showed them talked about family planning. Khloe admitted that she and boyfriend Tristan Thompson have already made embryos.
She said, “We realized that my eggs aren’t strong enough to be frozen. They should be mixed immediately with sperm to make embryos. So I actually have made embryos.”
Khloe continued, “And then, you know, with COVID, finding this whole fertility process, if you do need assistance in fertility, it’s much more challenging during COVID. They say, ‘If you wanna make God laugh, tell him your plans.’ So the one time I’m actually really trying to plan, God is saying, ‘Uh uh, you can’t make your plans like this!’ “
She explained, “My plan was to have kids closer in age. But with COVID and everything, my plan’s been a little delayed. I definitely do want more kids. I have so many brothers and sisters. I think it’s such a blessing — especially during these times — to have a family member or people that you can play with and rely on and just have a buddy through life.”
Based on a teaser for the final season of the long-running reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khlo and Tristan were discussing about having another baby.
Khloe said in the teaser, “Kim [Kardashian West], every time I post a video of True, she [direct-messages me] and she’s like, ‘She can’t play by herself her whole life. In my head, when I was going to have kids, I never ever imagined having an only child.”
Khloe said it has always been her dream to have a big family and the pandemic made her realize it was time to set her priorities. She said, “Being in quarantine with her, I felt bad. She had no friends, she had nobody, because they were isolated from each other. True is getting older. I just feel like it’s now time to have another kid.”
As far as Tristan is concerned, he already has a son, Prince, with his ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig. He agreed with Khloe’s idea, saying, “Yup, that’s what I like to hear.”
