The final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians started with a bang with Scott Disick revealing the ultimatum that led to his split from Sofia Richie last year.
The two celebs ended their three-year relationship on May 2020 but not long after, they were seen celebrating the Fourth of July together. According to Scott, they decided to get back together after Sofia explained what she needed out of their relationship.
He shared with Khloe Kardashian, “She came to me and explained all the things that made her feel insecure in our relationship and why it was so difficult for her to be in it. And I feel like she likes being the center of attention…And she goes, ‘In your life, I feel like I’m the last person that gets attention.'”
He continued, “She was super mature about it and said like, ‘I just want to be there for you but, how can we figure things out where I feel comfortable?'”
According to Scott, Sofia wanted to spend more time together and they agreed to take things slow. Meanwhile, earlier on the show, he told Kourtney Kardashian that he found it difficult to prioritize Sofia. Based on a confessional clip, he said he was determined to “make our relationship work and make her feel like she’s the priority.”
They reconciled but only for a while because they officially ended their relationship in August. He talked to Khloe and Kim Kardashian about it. He said he tried making priority his priority but it didn’t work.
He revealed, “I feel like she just started wanting to like, push Kourtney out. And I said, ‘That’s the most important thing to me, is my kids and that’s my family—and the only family that I have, including you guys along with it.”
To be more specific, he said Sofia didn’t want to share him “as a boyfriend with Kourtney.” The 22-year-old influencer went to the extent of issuing an ultimatum to the Flip It Like Disick star. He said, “And then she literally said with an ultimatum, ‘You have to choose me or Kourtney.'”
It shocked him because he shares three children with Kourtney namely Mason, Penelope, and Reign.
After that ultimatum, he realized he couldn’t go on with their relationship. He explained, “I’m never gonna give up my relationship with Kourtney and the co-parenting we have. Nothing in a million years will be worth what we have.”
