After more than a month since Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from her husband for six years, Kanye West, the momager Kris Jenner is finally speaking out.
On Thursday, March 18, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality star appeared on The Kyle & Jackie O Show, and shared her wishes to Kim and Kanye and they live their separate lives while co-parenting their children.
She said, “I think it’s always going to be hard anytime…you know, there’s a lot of kids. The good thing about our family is that we are there for each other and supportive and we love each other very, very much so all I want is for those two kids to be happy. And I want the kids to be happy. That’s the goal.”
She added, “I think we all want that for our families, just to be able to have the love and appreciation of one another, and that everyone’s okay. That’s what you want as a mom.”
Kim officially filed for divorce in Los Angeles on February 19 citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind their split. Further the SKIMS founder requested joint legal and physical custody of their four kids.
Meanwhile, the long-running reality show is on its final season which kicked off on Thursday, March 18. Kris was asked if they’ll play out the divorce on their show but she said it’s still too early to tell.
She explained, “I don’t know what they have decided on in the finale, we haven’t even seen the first show yet. I’m sure they’re putting some final touches. But I think it’s just a private time for them. Kim wanted to deal with this with her own family in her own time…When she feels like it, I’m sure she’ll say what she needs to say.”
The reality star announced recently that she’ll be releasing her own beauty brand and that’s what’s keeping her busy nowadays.
On the other hand, her daughter and son-in-law are adjusting to their new normal. The couple’s main priority, as always, is their four children. They’re spending plenty of time with North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm West as much as they can.
