The pop star took to Instagram to express her thoughts about the documentary and how it affected her life on Tuesday, March 30. She wrote, “My life has always been very speculated … watched … and judged really my whole life !!!”
She added that this is the reason why she dances to rocker Steven Tyler because his songs make her “feel wild and human and alive.”
The 39-year-old continued, “I have been exposed my whole life performing in front of people!!! It takes a lot of strength to TRUST the universe with your real vulnerability cause I’ve always been so judged… insulted… and embarrassed by the media… and I still am till this day!!!! As the world keeps on turning and life goes on we still remain so fragile and sensitive as people !!!”
Britney pointed out that she wasn’t able to watch the whole documentary. She added, “but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in … I cried for two weeks and well …. I still cry sometimes !!!!”
The mom of two explained, “I do what I can in my own spirituality with myself to try and keep my own joy … love … and happiness!!!! Every day dancing brings me joy !!!” I’m not here to be perfect … perfect is boring … I’m here to pass on kindness !!!!”
This is the first time the singer spoke up about the documentary and to address speculations about her conservatorship. She reminded her fans in February that “no matter what we think we know about a person’s life it is nothing compared to the actual person living behind the lens.”- Advertisement -
On March 1, the pop icon hinted about how she’s feeling lately by writing, “This year I devote myself to lots of tea and healing !!!! I’m working on allowing myself to not be so strong all the time and to know it’s ok to cry !!!!”
Many noticed how vague Britney’s posts are sometimes. Take for instance her posts earlier about “red” and yet nothing in her videos or photos were “red”. Fans kept asking her about it until she posted a photo of red lips and nails and captioned it “red”.
As reported before, Britney Spears’ boyfriend, Sam Asghari, shared in his Instagram Story that he had “zero respect” for Jamie Spears following the release of the much talked about New York Times documentary, Framing Britney Spears.
