Lourdes Leon confessed that Timothée Chalamet was her first boyfriend.
The 24-year-old model told Vanity Fair in an interview on Wednesday, April 21, she and Timothée Chalamet were a little item and admitted that he was her first boyfriend. They met while studying in the same school, Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, in Manhattan
The pair’s relationship was confirmed last April 2013. An insider familiar with Madonna’s eldest daughter shared that while dating is considered a loose term, they are indeed dating, just like any average teenager would.
Speculations arose when the pair was first spotted in New York around the same time, with Carlos Leon, Leon’s father and personal trainer. The former couple was also seen engaging each other affectionately in front of Madonna, 62.
Timothée, 25, shared his dancing experience with Madonna during an interview with Andy Cohen. The Little Women actor said that he had a really fun time that night accompanied by Lourdes.
In the same Sirius XM interview last November 2017, Cohen asked Timothée how long he went out with the Material Girl designer. To which, the actor chose to keep his silence, shrugging it off with a simple ‘Next question’.
While he was still an aspiring actor when they started dating, the former high school couple is now both successful in their respective careers. The Call Me By Your Name star continues to amaze his fans, while the trained dancer became the fresh face of Marc Jacobs.
Lourdes, also known as “Lola” to her close friends, only has good things to say about her ex-boyfriend. It was a mutual decision for both parties, and they have already moved on from their teenage love. She was then tied to Jonathan Puglia after some time.
Gossips are circulating online that Chalamet is back together with Lily-Rose Depp, daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis. The couple confirmed the end of their relationship in April 2020 after they started dating in October 2018.
However, the pair were seen together in Manhattan earlier this month. After an unsuccessful relationship with the model and prior to the rumors with Depp, Chalamet shared in a January interview with W Magazine that dating can also be scary. He said that what can only be seen is usually just the early date behavior of a person. The actor was also linked with Eiza González in 2020 for a brief time.
