There’s no stopping Pete Davidson when it comes to sweeping the Duchess of Hastings off her feet, even if it means flying back and forth just to be with her.
The King of Staten Island won’t let the distance come between him and British actress Phoebe Dynevor. They were spotted in an intimate outing in England last April 25. They were photographed in a grocery store in Manchester and later they were seen taking a stroll together.
The 27-year-old Saturday Night Live comedian and the 26-year-old Bridgerton star were rumoured to be dating for a few months now. On April 11, Pete confirmed that he was with his celebrity crush during an event via Zoom. Not only that but fans noticed that the two celebs are wearing matching “PD” monogram necklaces.
An insider close to Pete told E! News that he is “very into Phoebe” and that he’s been flying back and forth from NYC to the U.K. and vice versa whenever he gets the chance.
Pete is serious about courting the actress. The source explained, “He doesn’t mind, because he’s very excited about spending time with her. She’s getting to know him and loving this attention.”
For his recent trip, he arrived on April 22 at the Heathrow airport and would be back to New York before May 8 when SNL returns. The show will feature none other than Tesla owner himself, Elon Musk.
Moreover, the source revealed that the rumored couple spent a few weekends together for a while now. However, they keep their “dates” low-key. The source added, “He’s making a huge effort to go back and forth. When they aren’t together, they are on the phone and can’t get enough. She thinks he’s funny and very charming. She’s enjoying herself.”
Many fans believed that Pete and Phoebe first met in February when Regé-Jean Page, her Bridgerton co-star and onscreen husband, hosted SNL. They speculated that he may have introduced the two.
Neither Pete nor Phoebe confirmed their relationship though he has been very open about his “celebrity crush” on her. One thing’s for sure. Their romance is something that many fans and even Lady Whistledown herself would certainly approve of.
