Rebel Wilson continues to keep her fans updated regarding her fertility journey.
The 41-year-old Pitch Perfect actress shared on Instagram on Sunday, May 2, a photo showing her looking sad under a cloudy sky while standing along the beach. According to her caption, she received “bad news” earlier in the day related to her fertility struggles.
She wrote, “I got some bad news today and didn’t have anyone to share it with…but I guess I gotta tell someone. To all the women out there struggling with fertility, I feel ya.”
She added, “The universe works in mysterious ways and sometimes it all doesn’t make sense…but I hope there’s light about to shine through all the dark clouds.”
One of the celebrities who offered her support was Sharon Stone who commented, “Been there repeatedly there is good news I have three beautiful sons.”
Further, her former co-star Alexis Knapp also wrote, “So sorry my love. Been through it [broken-heart emoji].”
Rebel actually posted the same photo on her social media account earlier in the day with the caption “missing you”. However, she deleted it and then replaced the caption with the latest message.
Rebel shared details about her fertility journey through an Instagram Live last December 2020. She mentioned prior to the pandemic that she won’t be working a lot in 2020 and that she’ll be freezing her eggs as well.
The actress celebrated her 40th birthday in March 2020 and it impacted her decisions in life. She explained, “As all good career women out there should know, you know, if that’s something that interests you, it’s a pretty good time to do it. And getting to 40 is kind of leaving it even a little too late. It’s better to do it a bit earlier if you can.”
Rebel had been seeing Jacob Busch but she announced earlier this year that they have broken up. In fact, the actress posted a pic in February and captioned it “#single-girl-heading-to-Super-Bowl!” The split came only four months after they went public with their relationship.
Rebel announced in November 2020 that she finally reached her “goal” weight of approximately 165 pound. She kept fans updated with her weight loss journey after declaring 2020 as her “Year of Health”.
