Katy Perry has the best response to Orlando Bloom’s Mother’s Day tribute.
The Carnival Row star shared on Instagram on Sunday, May 9, a touching message for his fiancée and first-time mom. The couple welcomed Daisy Dove in August last year. Orlando also shares a son, Flynn, with his former wife, Miranda Kerr.
The 44-year-old actor reposted an image of himself holding a mini version of a mermaid, whom the singer dressed as for a campaign for Resorts World Las Vegas last April. He wrote, “Got myself a real catch [fish and heart emojis. Sending love and respect to all the amazing people who have shaped our lives, supported us and loved us unconditionally. Happy Mother’s Day.”
In response, the American Idol judge responded by writing, “baby pls can you bring me a bengal spice tea”, much to the amusement of their fans. She was going to film the hit TV show later that day and while her husband-to-be hasn’t responded as to whether or not he’ll deliver the soothing drink to her, fans were definitely amused with her answer.
One of the fans replied, “omg the best tea flavor ever! Also makes a real good iced sweet tea.” Another added, “make that two please. Hehe.”
Meanwhile, another follower commented, “best response to a Husband/boyfriend ever!”
Further, Demi Lovato responded to his message with with three crying-while-laughing emojis.
Obviously the two have a rather fun relationship. They like to tease each other as evident on their social media exchanges. Last month, Orlando commented on Katy’s post about her new hairstyle.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star commented then, “Baby, we’re all out of oat milk.” It seems that the actor was the one who started it and Katy finally got the chance to do the same.
On the other hand, Katy tweeted about how excited she was to celebrate Mother’s Day for the first time. She wrote, “i found everything i was ever searching for when i became a mother. so grateful for that profound, deep love and honored to join the mama club. happiest Mother’s Day.”
Also, she posted photos of herself in different poses on Instagram and captioned it, “1 hawt momma.”
