Amy Schumer has a different way of looking at John Krasinski and Emily Blunt’s marriage.
Schumer is a 39-year-old comedian and actress who recently joked about the A-list couple’s marriage by sharing on Sunday, May 30, a post on Instagram. She posted a photo of the movie A Quiet Place II and urged her fans to go to the movies and watch it. Her post’s caption was hilarious as she referred to the couple’s “pretend marriage for publicity”.
John is the film’s director while his wife Emily has the lead role in the horror movie
Amy wrote, “I loved every second of @aquietplacemovie even better than the first one which blew me away. Amazing to be in a movie theater!! [popcorn emoji]”
She added, “and although Ive said for a long time I think Emily and John have a pretend marriage for publicity. But I still think you should see it this rainy weekend.”
One of the commenters was none other than John himself who replied, “Thank you Amy!… for blowing up our whole marriage spot.”
The 41-year-old actor only proved that he also has a good sense of humor and knows how to ride on jokes. Meanwhile, it’s good to know he wasn’t the only one who recently fell victim to Amy’s jokes.
On her Instagram Story, she wrote, “It’s well known Emma stone is a toxic person but @disneycruella is amazing!!”
Obviously, she’s just joking as those who know her are aware that she and the Cruella actress are good friends.
Going back to John and Emily, the lovely couple tied the knot in July 2010 and so far they’ve been doing their best to make sure that their daughters Hazel, 7, and Violet, 4, aren’t fully aware about just how famous their parents really are.
Emily told the Sunday Times, “I don’t want my kids to feel any more important or special or that there’s a glare on them any more than other kids. If they can remain oblivious for the longest time, I’d be thrilled.”
The Hollywood Reporter reported that A Quiet Place II is expected to reach $58.5 million at the North American box office, especially during this long weekend.
Earlier, John Krasinski reacted to Dwayne Johnson’s joke on watching A Quiet Place with daughter.
