Who didn’t get emotional watching Friends: The Reunion?

A week after the special premiered on HBO Max on May 27, Lisa Kudrow revealed her favorite part from their highly anticipated reunion and it came as a surprise for most of them.

The main cast members namely Lisa, Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry reunited for the special event which was packed with amazing and unforgettable moments. For instance, they recreated the epic set when Lady Gaga and Phoebe Buffay sang “Smelly Cat”.

But did you know that there was one moment from the reunion that really stood out for the Feel Good actress? She shared with E! News, “Well, Courteney comes in and burst into tears and I grab a napkin or a tissue—LeBlanc takes it because he is telling us a story and doesn’t want to skip a beat and starts dabbing her eyes, just on automatic.”

For the information of everybody, Courteney is seldom emotional. In fact, Lisa could’ve missed that moment if it wasn’t for David who pointed that part to her when they both watched the reunion.

The actress, whose Netflix series will return on June 4, added, “That’s who we were!”

On the other hand, Jennifer shared the same sentiment as Lisa when she was interviewed in Gayle King in the House. She explained, “It was a sucker punch in the heart in a way,” The Morning Show star recently told Gayle King on her SiriusXM show, Gayle King in the House. “It was for all of us, I think. Even Courteney, we got tears out of! And I don’t even know—she’s so, you know, not emotional.”

“It was excitement,” the actress explained ahead of filming. “[Like] ‘This is going to be so fun to walk onto the set and they’re bringing all of the sets out from storage and putting it all back together.’ We romanticized it.”

There were fans who noticed that some of their favorite guest characters didn’t make it to the reunion like Paul Rudd and Cole Sprouse due to earlier commitments. Meanwhile, if you haven’t seen it yet, head on to HBO Max to stream this year’s most watched reunion!

As reported earlier, Matthew Perry and Molly Hurwitz ended their engagement seven months after the Friends alum asked her to get married.
