Can’t get enough of Bridgerton? Now that Regé-Jean Page won’t be joining the cast, everybody’s wondering what will happen to Phoebe Dynevor’s character in the hit series.
The actress recently opened up to The Wrap and confirmed that season two will definitely be different. To start, the focus will be on Anthony Bridgerton played by Jonathan Bailey as he finds himself a wife. This means that Daphne and Simon’s romance won’t be the center of attention anymore. However, fans are assured that though the Duke won’t be appearing in the next season, he’s not forgotten at all.
Phoebe confirmed, “I think he’ll definitely be referred to a lot. I think we’ll see the baby. And we’ll just focus more on her relationship with the Bridgerton family.” Hopefully, there’s a cameo by the actor.
With or without Regé-Jean, the actress assured Bridgerton fans that the remaining seasons will live up to their expectations. She explained, “I think that’s honestly the joy of the show in the long-term, getting to see these different love stories play out. And no two seasons will be the same and they’ll have a different excitement.” She also mentioned that the upcoming seasons will be magical in their own way.
At present, Netflix has renewed Bridgerton for four seasons with a different Bridgerton featured in each. This is in accordance to Julia Quinn’s books which inspired the series. Further, fans will also be treated to a Queen Charlotte spinoff in the future.
While waiting for season two, fans can get to know more about Anthony Bridgerton and what to expect on his season. To start, this is when he finds someone to marry and take his responsibilities as head of the Bridgerton household. Per the book, he finds the ideal wife but gets distracted by her older sister, Kate. Further, fans can expect him play Pall Mall which is one specific request by the author which the show must include.
With regard to Kate Sharma, she’ll be portrayed by Sex Education actress Simone Ashley. Her character is described in the book as “the most meddlesome woman to ever grace a London ballroom.” However, she’s also strong, smart, witty, and independent.

As reported earlier, Phoebe Dynevor and Pete Davidson were spotted in an intimate outing in England where they were photographed in a grocery store in Manchester and later they were seen taking a stroll together.
