Khloe Kardashian demanded Kimberly Alexander, the woman who claimed that Tristan Thompson is the father of her child, to “immediately stop harassing and defaming” the reality star.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians celeb threatened to take legal action against Tristan’s paternity accuser based on the cease and desist letter obtained by PEOPLE from her lawyer, Lynda B. Goldman of Lavely & Singer Professional Corporation. The request came after allegations of her fabricated direct messages to Khloe.
According to Goldman, despite the fact that Alexander already admitted faking the DMs from the KUWTK star, she “continued to make outrageous defamatory smears about Khloé, harassing her and trying to drag her into the paternity drama that you have persisted in contriving.”
The document further mentioned that these occurred even after “a DNA test from one of the nation’s top labs confirmed that Mr. Thompson is not the father of your child”.
The attorney added that th accuser’s alleged actions could lead to “substantial liability” on her part for “defamation and false light invasion of privacy.”
In addition to the above, Alexander was also accused for “falsely” claiming that Khloe “faked social media posts” and “outrageously defamed [Khloé] by inferring that she is a racist.”
The lawyer continued stating that “[Khloé] may soon have a defamation lawsuit of her own against you if you fail to immediately cease and desist from defaming her and portraying her in an offensive false light.”
The 36-year-old reality star and her 30-year-old boyfriend sent a cease and desist letter to the accuser in May for allegedly making, “malicious defamatory lies and specious fabrications” regarding the father of her child. Also last month, the NBA star filed a libel lawsuit against her.
PEOPLE obtained court documents that time and based on Thompson’s attorney Marty Singer, allegedly mentioned Alexander as a “wannabe social media influencer and pornographic model/performer who is so desperate to achieve her fifteen minutes of fame that she recently fabricated a false claim that NBA star/Cleveland Cavaliers center/power forward Thompson is the father of her nearly five year old son.”
The attorney further claimed that she “persisted in publicly proclaiming that Thompson is her child’s father” and “maliciously accused Thompson of being a deadbeat dad, ‘neglecting’ and failing to take financial responsibility for the child since birth.” Singer then referred to the accusations as “absolutely false” and “defamatory.”
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson share True, 3. They started dating in 2016 but separated in 2019 after the basketball player allegedly cheated on her with Jordyn Woods. However, the couple got back together last year.
