Kanye West and Irina Shayk are sparking romance rumors after the two flew to France earlier this week and returned on Wednesday, June 9.
The rapper and the supermodel spent time together at the Villa La Coste near Provence where they relaxed and had fun with a few of their friends. A source told E! News, “Kanye photographed Irina any chance he could. She loved posing for him and he got very into what he was creating with his photographs. She looks like his muse.”
The source added that the pair spent three nights at the hotel before flying back to the U.S. They were seen the first time together since they went off to France when they arrived at an airport in New Jersey.
The 44-year-old rapper was wearing a bright blue jacket from the Yeezy collection’s collab with Gap while the 35-year-old supermodel wore an oversized white sweater and sweat pants. Though their vacation took the internet by storm, another insider revealed that it wasn’t the first time that they were together in weeks.
The insider said, “They have been seeing each other for several weeks. Kanye has been flying in and out of New York to be with her.”
Meanwhile, a separate source close to the rapper shared, “Kanye and Irina have known each other for years through the fashion industry. They were connected through their mutual friend group and Riccardo Tisci.” Irina was also present during Kanye’s 2012 Paris Fashion Week Show, “Fade”.
Despite their connection, there wasn’t any spark between the two celebrtieis until recently. A source said, “Kanye and Irina connected recently when they were both in New York City. They met up one night and had chemistry and hit it off.”
“It’s very casual and they have only been in touch for about a month,” the insider added. “Kanye has expressed he doesn’t want anything serious but likes Irina’s vibe.”
Kanye and Irina’s getaway came after four months after Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from the rapper whom she was married to for six years. They share four children together namely North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2.
On the other hand, Irina was in a relationship with actor Bradley Cooper but they split in June 2019. They have a daughter, Lea, 4.
Meanwhile, neither Kanye or Irina has commented regarding their getaway.
