Khloe Kardashian isn’t new to heartbreak.
E! News confirmed on June 21 that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and basketball player Tristan Thompson once again split after getting back together. Fans of Khloe and Tristan are very much aware of the pair’s first relationship years ago. In 2018, he allegedly cheated on her while she was still pregnant with their daughter, True Thompson. It was followed by another scandal in 2019 which involved their family friend Jordyn Woods and ended with the pair’s first split.
Almost a year after they decided to give their relationship a second try, Tristan once again got involved in a scandal which claimed he cheated on Khloe. Such cheating allegations put another dent on their relationship and this time around, it’s irreparable.
An insider close to the famous family told E! News, “Khloe is extremely disappointed in how things have played out with Tristan. She has spent so much time and energy on their relationship and was hopeful for the future. To see that Tristan hasn’t changed at all after all of this is truly heartbreaking.”
Regardless of how their relationship turned out the second time, life goes on for the reality star and mom. The source explained, “She always had trust issues and wasn’t sure, but she wanted to be positive and see the good in him. She wanted nothing more than for True to have a happy family unit and she plans on still having that regardless of what Tristan does.”
Khloe celebrated her 37th birthday over the weekend and she received lots of love and support from family and friends. Tristan himself paid tribute to her by honouring her on her birthday. The source said, “Khloe has a huge support system of family and friends who have all rallied around her again. Everyone knows how special Khloe is and that she deserves more.”
Meanwhile, Khloe and Tristan are still co-parenting True. According to the source, “She is putting on a happy face and focusing on True. She’s an amazing mom and always does what’s best for True. She will continue to co-parent with Tristan and try to see the good.”
“In the meantime,” the insider said, “Khloe is spending time with family. She doesn’t know what the future holds and is taking one day at a time.”
