When it comes to their children, moms know best.
To say that Lisa Rinna was shocked with her daughter Amelia Hamlin’s relationship with Scott Disick is an understatement. Based on the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills which aired on June 30, Lisa told her co-stars that she couldn’t believe it at first because of the 18-year age gap between the two.
She told her friend Erika Jayne, “It’s a what the f––k moment. You’re like, what the f––k? She’s 19 and he’s 37 with three kids.” Scott shares three kids with ex Kourtney Kardashian namely Mason, Reign, and Penelope.
Erika agreed with her claiming she’s a little nervous about it herself while the Bravo stars assured them that it’s common in Beverly Hills to find couples with over a decade age difference.
Lisa said of her husband and Amelia’s mom Ursula, “Harry [Hamlin] was with Ursula[Andress] when she was 44 and he was 28.” Meanwhile, Erika and Tom Girardi has an age gap of 22 years. They met when she was only 28 and he was 50.
Erika joked, “I am not the person to be talking.”
On the other hand, Lisa was hoping that Amelia’s love for the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was just “a phase”. However, she asked her co-stars later in the episode for tips on how she should act when she meets the Flip It Like Disick star.
She asked, laughing, “When I meet Scott Disick for the first time, do I need to call him Lord?”
Kathy Hilton answered, “Yes, absolutely. And you can do a little curtsy.”
Kyle Richards who’s a close friend of Kris Jenner advised her, “He’s too damn old and he’s got three kids! That’s not a good match.” She added that she wouldn’t allow her daughters to be with men who are much older than them.
On the other hand, Garcelle Beauvais said, “Hell no”, during her confessional and teased Lisa saying, “You might be a grandmother of three!”
Just recently, Amelia gifted Scott with a Harley Davidson motorcycle for his birthday and the reality star returned the favor by giving her not one but two birthday presents last month.
