Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have officially tied the knot!
The musical duo announced their engagement eight months ago and finally exchanged vows in front of their loved ones on July 3 at the ranch of the “God’s Country” singer on July 3.
Gwen took to Instagram to share some of the festivities of their wedding. She captioned a video, “July 3rd 2021 [heart emoji] gx.” In the video, the No Doubt vocalist is shown wearing a floral robe and veil adorned with an oversized white bow. She looked absolutely stunning with her red lips. She also tagged her husband in the video and included a heart and hands praying emojis.
After a while, she shared on Instagram three romantic photos from their wedding and tagging designer Vera Wang who designed her stylish wedding gown. She wrote, “dreams do come [heart]. @blakeshelton i love you.” The photos featured the newlyweds at his ranch around sunset and also the two of them kissing in front of their wedding cake.
Gwen and Blake have been together since they officially started dating in November 2015. The two first met on the set of The Voice where they both served as coaches. They developed a deep connection after they divorced their respective partners.
Blake was married to country singer Miranda Lambert and they split in July 2015. On the other hand, Gwen was married to Gavin Rossdale with whom she shares three children.
The country singer opened up about his relationship with Gwen to Katie Cook of CMT after a year of splitting from Miranda saying, “It’s not something anybody could’ve seen coming, besides God I guess, because it doesn’t look like it would make sense. All I can tell you is that it does. It just makes the most perfect sense for us and where we’re at in our lives.”
He added, “I tell people all the time, ‘Gwen saved my life last year.’ She did.”
During their engagement last October 2020, he took shared on Instagram, “Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life. I love you. I heard a YES!”
