Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have developed a stronger friendship six months after they decided to go their separate ways.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star filed for divorce in February from her estranged husband for six years with whom she shares four children. They weren’t on speaking terms for a while after they separated and only communicated through their teams.

After giving each other space, a source close to Kim told E! News, “Kim and Kanye are doing great now. Now that the pressure of the marriage is off, they are on the same page as friends.”
The insider also mentioned that their communication and co-parenting are a lot better compared before now that they’ve given each other space. The source added, “They reconnected a few months ago and have been easing into a friendship now.”
Though the two are living separately, the source revealed that the rapper talked to Kim about his plans of releasing a song regarding their divorce in his new album, DONDA. The source told E! News exclusively, “Kanye did write a song about Kim and their marriage and Kim gave her input about it. He was respectful and gave her the heads up, and did not want to blindside her.”
Kanye hasn’t talked publicly about their divorce but the source cleared that he “respects Kim a lot and wants to keep the family unit,” adding, “Now that they have had space, Kim feels relieved that they can be cordial and spend time together for the sake of the kids.”
Just recently, Kim and Kanye took their kids North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm West to a museum in San Francisco. Sources claimed they looked happy about spending quality time together.
Meanwhile, Kim isn’t dating anybody and is focusing more on her kids and businesses. On the other hand, the rapper has been linked to model Irina Shayk after they were spotted in Europe where they spend a few days together. Though many expected the KKW Beauty to be jealous, a source close to her said she doesn’t mind at all if the rapper has moved on with his life as long as it doesn’t affect their children.
