Chris Evans and Lizzo are at it again. The internet’s favorite duo is back with hilarious content and this time it’s funnier than ever.
It all started when the Grammy winner took to TikTok to post a video wherein she pretended to be pregnant with Captain America’s child. She revealed, “This is something that I’ve been really trying to keep personal and private just between me and the father of my child. But since we’re airing out all the rumors today, I’ve been sucking in. We’re going to have a little America.”

It turned out that Chris took a DNA test claiming that he’s undoubtedly the father of the fake baby. Lizzo returned to TikTok on August 2 and shared their Instagram direct messages. Chris wrote, “Hi! Just heard about our little bundle of joyMy mother will be so happy lol”, adding a laughing emoji.
He also added jokingly, “(Just promise me no gender reveal parties lol).”
Lizzo shared the big news to her 17.1 million followers writing, “Guess what besties?! We secured the child support bag!!!!!”
She continued, “OMG YALL—HE SAW THE BABY BUMP! WE DID IT! NOW YALL GOTTA NAME LIL MERICA!!!!! WHAT YALL BOUTA NAME MY BABY ?!”
It seems that their fans have caught on and suggested some interesting names for their fake baby. One said, “Y’all can name it Erica because you can’t spell America without Erica.” Another user suggested, “Name yo kid Steve Rogers.”
Lizzo first shared a cheeky dm to the actor in April. She wrote together with a TikTok showing what she wrote him, “Don’t drink and DM, kids…” She added, “For legal porpoises this is a joke.”
Fortunately, the Captain America star was game. He replied, “No shame in a drunk DM [face-throwing-a-kiss emoji],” adding, “god knows I’ve done worse on this app lol [facepalm emoji].”
It turned out that drunk DM paved the way for the two to develop a beautiful friendship much to the delight of their fans. One of her latest TikToks showed the actor’s birthday message to her. He wrote, “Happy birthday!! Heard you’re in Vegas celebrating.” He continued, “I’m jealous 🙂 Have fun!”
