If there’s one thing that makes celebrities feel embarrassed, it has to be their unflattering photos being published.
Just recently, Justin Bieber asked the media to stop using his photos which he believes are unattractive, specifically those taken when he has Lyme disease.
He wrote on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, “I’m still in shock we are still using these photos of me , I’m telling you media wants to pick bad photos of me to make it look like I’m not okay.”
He added, “There have been countless photo shoots and oppertunities [sic] for media to pick up other photos but they still run with this one to make me look sick and unwell, its not right.”
Last year, the 27-year-old artist shared through a documentary that he suffered from Lyme disease. He also mentioned that during that period he had “a serious case of chronic mono” that affected his “skin, brain function, energy, and overall health.”
He referred to the photos that appeared online during that time saying, “This was a time where I was really unhealthy. I was battling Lyme disease, right?”
He also made his point clear by sharing a collage of photos and captioned it, “All of the top photos are me looking disheveled, right? I was obviously going through a tough time, but it’s like, these are the photos that the media tries to run with.”
He told the media to change those old pics adding, “Understand that there are people in your life that don’t want you to thrive, and sometimes that is a hard pill to swallow. Sometimes the people you love the most will be jealous of you. All we can do is forgive them and set the appropriate boundaries.”
The multi-awarded artist made headlines recently when being public about how much he admired country singer Morgan Wallen’s single, “Sand in My Boots” and claimed that he loved Wallen’s “Dangerous: The Double Album”.
However, he eventually deleted that post after finding out through a leaked video that the 28-year-old country singer used the N-word while drinking with his friends.
Bieber shared on Instagram, “I had no idea that the guy’s music i posted was recently found saying racist comments. As you know I dont support or tolerate any sort of racism or discrimination. I had no idea, I sincerely apologize to anyone i offended.”
As reported earlier, Blake Lively asked paparazzi to stop taking pictures of her children.
