Despite flawlessly pulling off a low-key pregnancy, the Saturday Night Live star finally announced that he and the Black Widow star had their first baby boy whom they named Cosmo on August 18, Wednesday. Only good things and cosmic love await their baby.
The 39-year-old American comedian is officially now a first-time dad. However, despite being very private about their personal life, Jost went to Instagram where he shared a few details about their newborn baby boy including his name, and just how much they love him. Moreover, Jost seemed to have slipped and dropped the tea that he and Johansson are expecting when he mentioned that they are starting to grow their family during a comedy show on August 15.
The comedian and the 36-year-old star of A Marriage Story tied the knot last October and is now enjoying the presence of a new family member, just a few months before they celebrate their first wedding anniversary. Johansson was engaged to Jost in May 2019, not long after Avengers: Endgame premiered. Turns out that in every end game, lies a new beginning.
The happy couple started with a low-key relationship. They first appeared together during the premiere of Avengers: Infinity War. They then went to the Met Gala together and is considered as one of the many couples who slew the biggest red-carpet event of the year. They went to movies premieres and Galas together, and only confirmed their engagement after Endgame dropped.
Since then, the couple seems to can’t stop doting each other. Johansson would sneak and steal kisses with Jost during the 2020 Golden Globes, and Jost always seems to be supporting Johansson during awarding seasons. Moreover, they often attend events as one of the most fashionable couples.
However, though they might come as a classic and fancy couple, Jost and Johansson do know how to have fun, making them one of the hilariously iconic couples in the industry. During the Generation Award at the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards, Jost poured a bowl of green slime over Johansson while she was accepting the award.
In the meantime, the couple is enjoying their time together as a growing family, with Jost being a first-time dad and Johansson’s second. Johansson was previously married to French journalist Romain Dauriac whom she shares six-year-old daughter, Rose Dorothy Dauriac.
