Sofia Richie and Jaden Smith are sparking romance rumors after they were spotted hanging out in Malibu, California last Saturday, September 5. The Daily Mail was able to obtain photos of their beach day which proved that they had fun under the sun.
The 22-year-old model was wearing a floral-printed bright pink bikini while the singer was seen wearing pink swimming trunks. A source told E! News that Sofia and Jaden hung out the whole day and night. They spent the afternoon at the beach with their friends but the two only have eyes for each other. They went swimming and had their arms wrapped around each other. They were holding hands when they went in and out of the water and then hugged each other.
Aside from swimming, they also had cocktails and a picnic. There was chemistry between them. As the source explained, they were smiling and flirting at each other. They looked very comfortable together.
In addition to hanging out at the beach, the source said that they had dinner with friends at Nobu, a celebrity hot spot. They were there for a few hours then left together. Sofia was all smiles and was in a great mood. She was having fun and looked happy. The two went back to a friend’s place for the night.
For those who aren’t aware yet, Sofia and Jaden started dating in 2012 when they were both 14 but their romance ended in 2013. Just recently, Sofia had a serious relationship with Scott Disick which lasted for three years before they decided to break up last month. Scott is 15 years older than her and shares three children with Kourtney Kardashian.
According to their friends, the 15-year age difference is one of the main reasons of their split. Scott wanted to focus more on a quieter lifestyle and be with his kids. He also wants to focus on his investments. On the other hand, Sofia is still young and trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life. The two first broke up in May 2020 but they reconciled. However, Scott decided to end things between them in August.
It was only a few weeks ago when Sofia Richie celebrated her 23rd birthday with some of her close friends. They went to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Her friends wanted her birthday to be very special and she was excited to celebrate it somewhere other than L.A.
