    Britney Spears Deactivates Instagram Account

Britney Spears has deactivated her Instagram account.

Many of her fans relied on her social media posts to stay updated regarding her “abusive” conservatorship. She’s been keeping every day posted by sharing some cryptic messages, videos, and photos. Her recent post was an announcement of her engagement to long-time boyfriend Sam Asghari on September 12.

Worry not, though, because she’s still active on Twitter and Facebook. She tweeted regarding her decision to deactivate her Instagram, writing, “Don’t worry folks … just taking a little break from social media to celebrate my engagement !!!!” She assured fans that she’ll “be back soon”.

Britney is in a much better place now than she’d ever been since her conservatorship. On September 7, her dad and conservator, Jamie Spears, submitted a petition asking a judge to finally terminate her conservatorship. Their next hearing is set for later this month.

The pop icon has been dealing with her conservatorship battle for a long time and the petition is considered a legal victory for her team and at the same time “vindication” for her.

Britney has been receiving a lot of good news but none made her happier than being engaged to Sam. He finally proposed to her at her house with a stunning 4-carat diamond ring with the word “Lioness” engraved on it.

The personal trainer has been longing to propose to her and finally had the right time to do it. Britney openly talked about how much Sam had been there for her, especially throughout her conservatorship.

She’s been married twice. She first tied the knot with her friend Jason Alexander and had their marriage annulled in 2004. Then, she married Kevin Federline and divorced in 2006.

Many of her friends and fans are happy about the engagement news which she shared on Instagram. Oscar-winner Octavia Spencer commented, “Make him sign a prenup.”

Other fans also have the same advice for the singer. A fan commented, “So happy for you mama but please make sure y’all sign that prenup.” Meanwhile, another wrote, “Hmmm. You are about to get your money back, and he proposed.”

Sam took to his Instagram Story to address this “concern” by sharing, “Thank you everyone is concerned about The prenup! Of course we’re getting iron clad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection in case she dumps me one day [crying while laughing emojis].”
