A source told ET that since Katy has given birth, the engaged couple has been receiving tons of love and kindness. Their friends sent them gifts as well as shared words of encouragement endlessly. Because of the pandemic, many of them couldn’t visit or see Daisy personally do the couple has FaceTimed with them and showed them their beautiful daughter.

The source shared that the “What Makes a Woman” songstress is obsessed with Daisy and been treating her incredibly. The arrival of their daughter had brought Katy and Orlando closer to each other and their love had grown to a level that even they didn’t expect.

The two have been engaged since February 2019 and they were supposed to tie the knot this year, specifically last March. It was supposedly a wedding in Japan but they had to postpone it because of the coronavirus pandemic.

In April, ET also talked to Katy about being pregnant during the global health emergency. During that time, the singer said that time brought in a lot of balance, maybe even necessary balance. She added that it was good for her to prep this kind of mindset because she’ll probably be still at home after quarantine is over and everybody goes out and celebrates. She even joked that everyone’s drinking while quarantining and she wasn’t.

Many of the couple’s celebrity friends includsing Bloom’s ex Miranda Kerr sent their gifts and well-wishers since the two announced through UNICEF the arrival of Daisy. They even set up a donation page under her name. Earlier this week, “uncle” Ryan Seacrest sent an adorable gift. Also, last week Beyonce congratulated Katy on her baby girl by sending the new mom a lavish floral arrangement from Mark’s Garden. It included white orchids, roses, and other white flowers.

Of course, Katy’s fellow American Idol judge, Lionel Richie, and his girlfriend, Lisa Parigi, also sent the 36-year-old mom and her daughter a special gift. Based on the photo she shared on social media, she received a box of champagne and a cute unicorn bathrobe for her newborn.
