Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have taken the steps towards forever.
The reality star and rock star are finally engaged. Travis proposed on Sunday, October 17 at Rosewood Miramar Hotel in Montecito, California. Kourtney confirmed the engagement by posting on Instagram, “forever @travisbarker”. She also shared some photos from their memorable moment.
Many are happy for the couple including Kim Kardashian who shared on Twitter a photo of the lovely pair kissing and captioned it, “KRAVIS FOREVER”, and added a ring emoji to it.
An insider told E! News that the proposal took place at sunset, around 6:30 p.m. The insider shared, “Kourtney looked very surprised to see Khloe and Tristan there. Travis escorted Kourtney down to the beach, where he had red and white florals set up in the shape of a heart. It looked very romantic. I could see Kourtney smiling from ear to ear and put her hand over her mouth looking surprised. The family cheered for them and went back into the hotel.” Khloe and Tristan Thompson were present to witness the proposal.
Another source exclusively told the outlet that Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble were also at the venue and “they surprised [the couple] afterward inside the hotel”. According to the source, Kourtney “had no idea” that the 45-year-old drummer was going to propose saying, “She teared up and couldn’t stop saying, ‘I love you.'”
This didn’t come as a surprise to some because the two are very much in love with each other. They never failed to show the public their feelings towards each other as evident in their PDA-packed vacays and dates. They’ve also spent a lot of time with each other’s families by going on trips together. Besides, they’ve been friends and neighbors for years.
The couple dubbed by fans as Kravis first sparked romance rumors in December last year and eventually became Instagram official last February.
Meanwhile, Kourtney’s ex and father of her children, Scott Disick, has already given his blessings to the couple. He told Andy Cohen during the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion episode, “I think if you really love somebody, right, you want them to be happy no matter what. So, I do give her a blessing to be happy.”
They share three kids together namely Mason, 11, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 6.
