Now that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are engaged, many fans are wondering about Scott Disick and how he’s feeling following the big news.
A source close to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star told E! News that he “knew it was coming” as the Kardashian-Jenner clan has already “mentioned it to him before”. However, the source revealed that the Flip It Like Disick star is “still really sad about it and is feeling low.”
Looking back at his relationship timeline with Kourtney, the two had been on an on-and-off relationship since 2006. They were together for almost 10 years and shared three children together namely Mason, Penelope, and Reign. However, they never tied the knot. They had their final break up on July 4, 2015.
Meanwhile, the source said that he will always care for Kourtney. She is the mother of his children and no one else will compare to that. Further, he’ll always be a part of the famous family though he finds it difficult being around the couple.
Scott has moved on since they split in 2015. His recent relationship was with model Amelia Hamlin but they eventually broke up following his alleged DM to Kourtney’s ex-boyfriend, Younes Bendjima. The message read, “Yo is this chick ok!???? Broooo like what is this. In the middle of Italy.” The reality star was referring to Travis and Kourtney’s PDA-packed trip to Paris.
Unfortunately, the model took a screenshot of the DM and posted it on social media. Scott eventually regretted what he did. As another source close to him told E! News, “Scott Disick is still very bitter about Kourtney and Travis’ relationship. He wants her to be happy, but behind closed doors, he will always have regrets about their relationship and why it didn’t work out. He is bitter because he’s never seen Kourtney this serious about someone.”
His actions led to Amelia posting a photo of her top with the words, “Don’t you have a girlfriend?” They broke up last month after almost a year of going steady.
Meanwhile, Scott is focusing his attention on his relationship with his kids. They are and always will be his top priority.
