The Wonder Woman star is ecstatic after announcing that she will be playing the Evil Queen for Disney’s upcoming Snow White live-action film. The actress told Daily Pop she cannot wait for the day when she will be standing in front of a mirror and bringing the classic fairy tale character to life. She further added that she is so excited to fill the evil queen’s shoes.
The 36-year-old mother of three has been known for her roles in action-packed movies such as the Wonder Woman franchise and Fast and Furious where she played badass characters that people loved. She even received the #SeeHer Award during the Critic’s Choice Awards in 2018 for portraying Wonder Woman—one of the hit movies which challenged the stereotyping of women’s roles in the entertainment industry and showed accurate portrayal of female characters.
In her most recent project, Gadot worked side-by-side Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds (Red Notice) where she played ‘The Bishop’, the world’s most wanted art thief. Johnson played the role of John Hartley, an FBI profiler who is compelled to partner with the world’s greatest art thief, Nolan Booth who is played by Reynolds.
According to Johnson, Gadot is just as badass in real life as she is in her movie roles. He further joked about not wanting to mess with her because she is a badass and smart woman. Johnson even added a better picture saying that it is just Wonder Woman, Black Adam, and Deadpool trying to fight each other out.
On the other hand, Reynolds remarked that the fight would be drawn between them. He also added that the Keeping Up with the Joneses actress would get some good hits and he cannot say the same for him and Johnson. He also joked that he can just run away quickly, so he just wants to call it a draw since he is working with two of the strongest stars.
Gadot on the other hand state that Reynolds has been having them laughing, letting them break the scene. According to her, not laughing and breaking a scene in the movie was one of the biggest challenges while working with them. She also added that she had the most fun moments with Johnson and Reynolds while working on Red Notice.
As was reported earlier, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo confirmed that they would be starring in the movie adaptation by Jon M. Chu of the famous musical, Wicked.
