After over a year of dating, supermodel Kaia Gerber and Australian actor Jacob Elordi have decided to go their separate ways.
Their split had been confirmed by Page Six, with the source sharing that it was an “amicable” breakup. Fans started speculating about a possible split when pictures of The Kissing Booth and Euphoria actor, including a sweet and intimate photo of them together celebrating Gerber’s 20th birthday, have been taken down from the model’s Instagram profile. The two, however, still follow each other on social media.
Dating rumors surrounding the two started to pop up around September of last year when the two had been spotted grabbing dinner at a chic sushi place in Malibu and going out on frequent dates in New York.
Gerber, 20, used to date comedian Pete Davidson (who is now officially dating Kim Kardashian). He shared in an interview with Charlamagne Tha God that “it just wasn’t the right place or the right time at all”. The twenty-four-year-old actor, meanwhile, was in a relationship with Kissing Booth co-star Joey King from spring of 2017 to late 2018, and then he got linked with Euphoria co-star Zendaya from 2019 up to early 2020 before the relationship with Gerber in late 2020.
The now ex-couple sweetly confirmed their relationship on Instagram last year through a romantic and nostalgic picture of them dressed up as Elvis and Priscilla Presley for Halloween. The twenty-year-old model and actress looked immaculately stunning in her sexy purple getup and 70’s-inspired makeup whilst Elordi looked gorgeous as the rock-and-roll king in a crisp blue suit.
Whilst they were together, the two have been hitting it off spectacularly, with a source stating that they are “inseparable”. Elordi was reportedly “very sweet” to Gerber and the latter was also “very happy” with the Australian boyfriend. The supermodel’s parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, are also reportedly happy about their relationship, and Elordi even joined them on vacation at Cabo, Mexico September of last year.
It is still vague for the fans of the former couple on how the romance came to an end since the two had been spotted together at the opening gala of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures a few days after Gerber’s 20th birthday celebration. As of this writing, there are no official comments released from both parties about their breakup.
As it was reported earlier, after having their first child together Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik split again.
