Keith Urban is this year’s ACM Awards host. The event will take place for the first time at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee instead of its regular venue in Las Vegas. There will be no live audience but viewers are in for a treat with the star-studded performances lined up.
Stars like Luke Bryan, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, and more will perform at the Opry. Meanwhile, Maren Morris, Kelsea Ballerini, Thomas Rhett, and Gabby Barrett among others will have their performances at the stage of Ryman Auditorium. Further, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw and more will be singing from the Bluebird Café.
As reported earlier, Taylor Swift will be performing “Betty” at the ceremony.
On Monday, September 14, the award-giving body already announced its early winners. The New Female Artist of the Year went to Tenille Townes while the New Male Artist of the Year is Riley Green. Thomas Rhett got the award for Video of the Year for “Remember You Young” while Hillary Lindsey was awarded Songwriter of the Year. The Music Event of the Year award went to Fooled Around and Fell in Love – Miranda Lambert Featuring Maren Morris, Ashley McBryde, Tenille Townes, Caylee Hammack & Elle King.
