Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly made the relationship update the world has been asking by finally announcing their engagement.
Not so long ago when the famous rocker swore that he had never fallen in love, and then he meets the star of Jennifer’s Body, and now he is so in love with her that he had to put a ring on it! The 31-year-old artist got on one knee and asked Fox the million-dollar question on January 11. The newly-engaged actress then shared the rest of the details of the proposal via Instagram video the day after.
The Transformers star captioned the video with a romantic flashback start, saying that they once sat under that same tree where the American rapper got on one knee back in July 2020, asking for magic. The 35-year-old actress continued by saying that after almost a year and a half, back when they were both oblivious to the pain and laughter that is coming, just as they are unaware of the sacrifices and the work their relationship had to require and living through hell together, he finally asked her to marry him and she said yes, just as she would in the next and previous lifetime.
The shared post was well received by fellow stars and supporters, including Kim Kardashian who wrote a comment saying that she is so happy for the newly engaged couple.
Fox and MGK first went public as a couple back in June 2020. However, their connection primarily flourished while the two were working on Randall Emmett’s Midnight in the Switchgrass. According to MGK, his and Fox’s trailer was right next to each other and he had to wait on the trailer steps every day just to have a chance of eye contact.
In an interview with GQ, MGK stated that dating the star of Rogue has given him a full-circle moment since he started as a teenager pining over Fox, having a poster of her in his room, and now he is a famous rock star who is dating her, and just asked her to marry him.
In MGK’s Instagram, he shared a close-up photo of Fox’s two-stone engagement ring which he helped design with Stephen Webster. In the photo, he wrote that the two stones, each matching their birth month, is the symbol of the same two souls that forms into a heart, that is their love.
