Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are engaged. Now that she’s ready to get married once again, how did her estranged husband, Brian Austin Green, react to the news?
Right after news of their engagement exploded online, many are wondering what the Beverly Hills 90210 alum has to say now that the actress is ready to walk down the aisle once more. The two split in late 2019 after being married for almost 10 years. A source close to the actor told E! News that he wasn’t shocked to find out that she wants to get married again. The insider added, he was “not surprised she got engaged and knew it was coming.”
Further, the insider pointed out that Brian is still focusing on co-parenting. He and Megan have three sons: Noah, 9, Bodhi, 7, and Journey, 5. The insider added, “He’s focused on his kids and just being there for them.”
Brian also has a 19-year-old son Kassius whom he shares with Vanessa Marcil. As far as his love life is concerned, he has found new love, too. He is currently dating pro dancer Sharna Burgess.
The 48-year-old actor and the 36-year-old Dancing With the Stars pro celebrated their anniversary in October. Based on his Instagram post, she accepted him “in a way I’ve never been loved before.” He also shared a photo of them together with “#damnimlucky.”
On the other hand, Sharna paid tribute to Brian saying that her “whole world changed” after meeting the actor. She wrote, “You’re everything I’ve ever wanted in 1 person and the way you love me is something I couldn’t even have dreamed of. I never knew it existed until you. I love you baby, and I love doing life with you. 1 down, and all of them to go.”
Meanwhile, Megan and Brian’s divorce proceedings already started in November 2020. However, in December 2021, a judge ruled that they have to resubmit new paperwork because of errors in order for them to be declared single again.
An insider close to Megan told the outlet before that the former couple has a peaceful co-parenting relationship because they both found love in their new partners. The insider added, “They are all adjusting to this situation well. The kids like spending time with both parents and their significant others. Everyone is doing a lot better.”
