Jamie Lynn Spears begged her sister Britney Spears to end their “embarrassing” feud online.
The “Sweet Magnolias” star shared a lengthy post on her Instagram Stories on Saturday directed to her 40-year-old sister. The 30-year-old wrote, “Britney — just call me.”
“I have attempted many times to speak to you directly and handle this privately like sisters should, but you still choose to do everything on a public platform.”

Jamie Lynn went on to explain that she has always been there for her big sister. She also defended the quotes she mentioned during her interview for “Good Morning America” about the multi-awarded singer.
She begged, “In the meantime, please stop continuing the narrative that I haven’t been there for you or that I’m making things up. I’m happy to share how many times I’ve reached out to you, supported you and tried to help you. This is embarrassing and has to stop. Love you.”
She claimed during her interview, “I’ve always been my sister’s biggest supporter,” she said. “So when she needed help, I set up ways to do so. Went out of my way to make sure that she had the contacts she needed to possibly go ahead and end this conservatorship and just end this all for our family. If it’s going to cause this much discord, why continue it?”
She also added that she still loves her sister, saying, “That love is still there. 100 percent. I love my sister. I’ve only ever loved and supported her and done what’s right by her, and she knows that, so I don’t know why we’re in this position right now.”
As for Britney, a source told Page Six that she rolled her eyes at the interview and claimed it was just a tactic to sell her book. She tweeted after the interview, “My family ruined my dreams 100 billion percent and [tried] to make me look like the crazy one.” She also referred to her little sister as “scum”.
“NOW and only NOW I do know only a scum person would make up such things about someone …. I’m actually very confused about you making that up because it’s honestly not like you at all !!!!”
She added, She continued, “Around the kids ???? Jamie Lynn, seriously ??? Come on !!! Congrats on introducing your older sister the concept of getting LOW … LOWER … LOWEST … because you win on that one, babe !!!!”
