Dancing With the Stars is back! The show promised a whole new lineup of celebrities who will dance their way to winning the highly coveted mirror ball trophy.
The long-running dance competition show kicked off on Monday, September 14. There are some changes in the show such as a whole new ballroom and of course the new host supermodel Tyra Banks who was a sight to behold in her stunning red dress and big hairdo. It didn’t mind her at all that there was no big audience.
Meanwhile, Derek Hough who had won six mirror ball trophies also returned but this time he’s one of the judges together with Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba. Also, there’s Len Goodman who will be lending his ballroom expertise remotely because he is presently in the UK.
After months of anticipation, ABC finally announced the celebrity-pro pairings who will compete this time around. Here’s the list of the teams that the country will be rooting and voting for every week:
Aj Mclean and Cheryl Burke
Nev Schulman and Jenna Johnson
Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem Chigvintsev

This season of Dancing With the Stars had been controversial especially with the exit of its former hosts, Tom Bergeron, who hosted the show from the very beginning. His co-host, Erin Andrews, also left ahead of season 29.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, DWTS has set new procedures for everyone’s safety. In addition to regular testing, this season the participants will be living apart and that includes the dance professionals who are married to each other. This is one way to prevent eliminating several pairs at one time in case a member of a pair gets sick.
Don’t forget to vote for your favorite Dancing With the Stars dance pair as the show airs Monday on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
