    These Male Celebs are Standing with Ukraine

    Despite the ongoing crisis in Ukraine after Russia’s invasion, humanity shows that there is still hope as they finally stand together, making an uproar to call out and gather help to support Ukrainians that are struggling and seeking refuge after fleeing their homes to escape. Right now, male celebrities of Ukrainian and non-Ukrainian descent are standing up and raising funds and support to help the country.

    Ashton Kutcher

    The star of the That 70’s Show stands with his wife, Mila Kunis, a Ukraine-born actress, as they help raise funds. The 44-year-old American actor helped create the GoFundMe page which is dedicated to spreading awareness and raising financial funds to help Ukrainians in their recovery. Together with Kunis, Kutcher used his platform and urged their fans and supporters to offer support in any given way.

    In the meantime, the page has raised $18,166,500, and the couple is on the run to raise it to $30 million.

    Ryan Reynolds

    The star of Deadpool has been active when it comes to humanitarian works and is now in the process of raising and matching up donations to help Ukrainian refugees. Together with his wife, Blake Lively, the Canadian actor promised to match and raise financial donations to Ukraine, setting a goal of $1 million to double the support. Reynolds then went to Twitter to further spread awareness, urging people to help out Ukrainians after being forced to flee.

    Volodymyr Klitschko

    A Ukrainian heavyweight champion and former fiancé of American actress Hayden Panettiere has enlisted himself to the Ukrainian army reserves, fighting and protecting his home and his countrymen on the frontlines. The 45-year-old athlete now fights alongside his brother, Vitali Klitschko, and continues to call out help and support from the world, saying that it is time to stay united against Russia’s aggression.

    Maksim Chmerkovskiy

    Ukrainian professional Maksim Chmerkovskiy has made a statement that he is going back to his homeland to help out in the war efforts on the ground. He then promised to support the victims of war with CORE, a non-profit organization. He went to Instagram to share a few details about the organization, explained that its major cause is to coordinate with international and local partners to collect and gather support that could assist Ukrainians in their recovery and resettlements.

    Other male celebrities who stand one with Ukraine is Vitali Klitschko and Val Chmerkovskiy (Maksim’s brother). Both Ukrainian nationals are making their way to supporting and protecting their homeland. Chmerkovskiy is trying to gather support, empathy, and raise funds, while Klitschko, the current mayor of Kyiv, has been very vocal about his love for his country, saying that he is ready to die for it.
