Kim Kardashian is closing down KKW Fragrance temporarily starting next month.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality star shared on Instagram on April 1 that she’ll be temporarily closing her fragrance line to prepare for something more exciting.
She wrote, “On May 1st at midnight, @kkwfagrance will be shutting down the website so that we can relaunch fragrance in the future under a brand new name—and under a new web store where you can purchase from all beauty categories under one site.”
The 41-year-old business mogul said that she’s been “incredibly proud” of her products which she put her “heart and soul into every bottle”. It was in 2017 when she launched her famous Crystal Gardenia.
She added, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your loyalty and love these last few years. I cannot wait to introduce you to the next chapter of my fragrance journey—I promise I won’t be gone for too long.”
Kim also shared some good news to her fans and followers. The remaining KKW Fragrance products are on sale at the site for 40% off.
The SKIMS founder hasn’t revealed yet the new name of her fragrance line. However, many assumed that she’ll be dropping the “W” following her divorce from her estranged husband, Kanye “Ye” West. The former couple shared four kids: North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2.
Kim was declared legally single on March 2, more than a year after she filed for divorce from the Donda rapper. A day after the declaration, the reality TV star removed “West” and went back to her maiden name on all her social media accounts.
The hearing took place a few days after Kim claimed that Kanye has been causing her “emotional distress”. Though she desired to be divorced from him and wanted the whole process to be private, the rapper hasn’t done so.
The SKIMS founder has been open that their marriage is irreparable.
Kim is presently seeing Saturday Night Live host, Pete Davidson. They first sparked romance rumors late last year after being photographed holding hands at an amusement park together with Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker.
