The Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality star, 42, married the drummer, 46, at the One Love Wedding Chapel. Their Vegas wedding happened hours after the couple attended the 2022 Grammys together at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. According to TMZ, which was the first to report the news, the two had a wedding ceremony in the middle of the night.
They walked into the said chapel around 1:30 a.m. Monday. The couple brought with them their own photographer and security. TMZ also mentioned that an Elvis impersonator officiated their wedding and added that there will be other celebrations with lots of fanfare the couple has in store.
Kourtney and Travis first sparked romance rumors in December 2020 but it wasn’t until February 2021 that they became Instagram official with their relationship. The two have always been open about their relationship as proven by their PDA-packed getaways. Eight months after announcing their relationship, Travis popped the question and Kourtney said yes.
Travis proposed at the beachside at the Rosewood Miramar Hotel in Montecito, California. Among those who were present were Khloe Kardashian, Tristan Thompson, Kris Jenner, Corey Gamble, and Kim Kardashian.
During his proposal, Travis escorted her down to the beach where he had prepared red and white flowers in the shape of a heart. Kourtney was smiling and looked surprised when he asked the question while her family cheered them on.
Kourtney confirmed the news on Instagram by posting the couple’s pics surrounded by candles and roses with the sun in the background. She captioned it, “Forever”.
Kourtney and Travis weren’t only spending quality time with each other but also make sure their blended family approves of their relationship. Kourtney shares Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7, with her ex, Scott Disick. On the other hand, Travis has two kids with Shanna Moakler namely Landon, 18, and Alabama, 16. He also has a stepdaughter, 22-year-old Atiana De La Hoya.
Meanwhile, this is Kourtney’s first marriage. As for Travis, this is the third time he has tied the knot. His first wife was Melissa Kennedy. Their marriage lasted for only 9 months before they separated in 2002. Then, he married Shanna Moakler in 2004 but the two call it quits in 2006. Their divorce was finalized in 2008.
