Just recently, Jason Momoa and Kate Beckinsale sparked romance rumors after the Aquaman star loaned the actress his coat during an Oscars 2022 after-party last March 27.

The 42-year-old Game of Thrones star shut down the romance rumors once and for all during a conversation with Extra which was published on April 4.

He said, “It was cray. Have a conversation with a woman about her country, I was in England doing Aquaman 2. Everyone is like, ‘Are you dating?’ No, no, it was chivalry, the woman was cold.”

He also confirmed that there was nothing going on between the two of them. He explained, “Absolutely not, not together. She is very nice, I was being very nice, just being a gentleman. Now, I am not giving my coat to anyone.”

It was no surprise that many got all excited about the rumors because it was only less than two months since Momoa and Lisa Bonet, 54, announced that they were separating after four years of being married. They were together for more than a decade. The former couple shares two children, Lola, 14, and Nakoa-Wolf, 13.

They announced their split on Instagram through a joint statement that read, “We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times. A revolution is unfolding ~and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring.”

Momoa and Bonet got married in 2017. They added in their statement that they were “parting ways in marriage” and wanted to keep other informed as they went “about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty.”

Momoa remains close with his family despite the split. In fact, he was present at the premiere of Batman on March in New York City. He was there to support Zoë Kravitz, his stepdaughter.

Meanwhile, the actor also shared about joining “The Fast and the Furious” franchise. He revealed, “We are doing ‘Fast 10’, it’s finally happened. It’s taken 10 movies for Vin [Diesel] to invite me, so thanks Vin for finally coming to your senses. I think I just begged to be in it.  I just want to play the bad guy again.”

When asked if he’ll be playing the villain, he said, “F**k yeah!”

Was it destiny that he became a part of the franchise? He explained, “I mean I like motorcycles and cars… granted they’re not new, they’re all old… I want to do things fast… I just want to be the bad guy again.”
